In 1994, university student David Seeley played music as a part time job. But when his band broke up, he used the band truck to help people move around the Twin Cities. After three increasingly successful seasons, David knew it was time to take his business to the next level.
He changed the company name from Happy Movers to Local Motion, invested in more trucks, hired more staff, and set out to make his company a household name.
To date, Local Motion is the top moving company in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, leading in technical innovation in the moving and storage industry.
