Estimate $4000 to $6500, someone ELSE shows up to move me now $9500! weight or cu ft, couldn't give me estimate on weight, so i was forced cu ft. I was told Landmark, a vet owned co, had a delivery in NV, going back to Fla and that they would move me. Initial estimate was $4,000, then told me it would be a little more, an additional $500. They called the day before, and I gave them an exact box/item count, now the price increased to $6500. Then they came a day after I requested on Nov 20, but I needed them on Nov 19. It's now another company and I'm told landmark is just the broker. The new cost was then $9,500 by cu ft. I could not move by weight because there was other stuff on the truck, no pre weight was available, and I couldn't get a weight price. They told me they needed a decision immediately. Jarrid at Landmark also told me they needed the pickup on 11/19 because they could only drive a limited number of hrs and it would take 2-3 weeks. The company loading my stuff told me it would only take 3-4 days to drive and deliver. So I needed to rush, and have my belongings in storage. Also, once I signed with Jarrid, he then never answered the phone or returned a call to me. This whole experience has been horrible, especially pushing me to use a vet company |
