I was quoted a cost of $225 over the phone, and I was very specific about what I wanted done AND THE DISTANCE THEY WOULD HAVE TO TRAVERSE to get the job done-they arrived 1/2 hour late, did a good job, very professional--but the estimate ballooned into $442. The estimate for the job was 3 hours--the actual job took 4 hours. No mention was made on the phone that extra charges would be made for shrink wrap ($30), a box @ $12, another box @ $20. I was lowballed on the estimate in order to to get the job, then overcharged on time and materials which were never mentioned at the time I spoke to these people on the phone. They did a good job, but their business practices left a lot to be desired. I would give the a D+ for that reason. |
