Lockley Moving was referred to me by the local U-haul on Monticello in Charlottesville. They provide no blankets to protect your furniture. Mr. Lockley said that they were expert movers and knew how to pack it would not be a problem. They were only moving a one bedroom apartment and caused $300 in damages, $50 less than I paid. DAMAGED a custom corn hole board ruined the front of it. damaged a night table all four corners and the top of it, destroyed the bookcase. it is now falling apart. When they brought these items in they put boxes on the night table so the damage could not be seen. Placed the corn hole boards backwards against the wall so that the damage could not be seen and the bookcase I did not realize how bad it was until they left. When I called Christain Lockley to discuss this he told me that they were just following instructions. He actually hung up on me during the conversation! He did call me back and said he would come by was not responsible for the damages. |
