DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES: IVE LISTED THEIR INFO BELOW: They are liars and will take your money, promise and guarantee a move and then leave you stranded and won’t answer. MICHAEL VOLZ a sales rep for COAST2COAST VAN LINES booked a move for me on May 12, 2021 for June 28th from New York To Florida. I was told by him they own a trucking company called TOP TIER VAN LINES so he can guarantee everything! He told me the moving team at TOP TIER VAN LINES would contact me a week before my move to confirm. I called MICHAEL VOLZ on Wednesday 6/23 to say I hadn’t heard from anyone. While confirming the numbers he was trying to charge me an additional $981.00. The math on his own notes were not even correct, he then hung up on me. I then called the main office number to speak to a manager, TOM LARA Came on the phone, I explained the conversation with MICHAEL VOLZ He then put me on hold and called MICHAEL VOLZ and looked at my paperwork, he came back and said that I was correct and MICHAEL VOLZ did the math wrong, I then reconfirmed my whole move with him, he confirmed everything I had in writing. He also confirmed someone named CARLOS would call me from Top Tier Van Lines. Nobody called, I google the number for Top Tier van lines and called myself, finally CARLOS ALONSO answered. WATCH THIS GUY VERY CAREFULLY. He lies, he talks in circles to try to confuse you. He then proceeded to stall me for three days, 1st day: he didn’t know if he could get me on the schedule for the week of the 28th. He stated he received this order 2 days ago. HE CLAIMS TO BE CUSTOMER SERVICE What a joke: 2nd day: they had to confirm my addresses as I had two pick up locations. 3rd day: he says I don’t know what day they will pick you up Monday the 28th or Tuesday the 29th, he says dispatch will call you! Day before my move: June 27,2021 CARLOS ALONSO texts me at 12:08 pm that dispatch will call me shortly. A guy named Chris from dispatch calls me and says he most likely cannot accommodate this move. He does not have a truck for a guaranteed three day delivery, he will check around and see what he can do. I then call TOM LARA AT COAST2COAST VAN LINES. He tells me the two company’ s are two separate ones and that they have a contract with the trucking company but do not own them, he also tells me CARLOS ALONSO RECEIVED MY PAPERWORK BACK IN MAY. I explained I have a job set up and I have all my utilities shutting off and I need this move to happen as THEY GUARANTEED ME! He said I’m going to help you and we’ll get this done, I’ll call you back. Needless to say by 7:00 pm no call back and did not answer my calls. Finally Chris from dispatch called a few minutes later after several attempted calls to him as well, he says they cannot do this move for the guaranteed delivery dates. He can only offer me a 10-15 day window for delivery. THIS IS TRULY DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL I hope this review saves you the heartache I am going through right now, I am now stuck with no utilities A job loss and starting all over in search for a LEGITIMATE mover.
