Everything was fine despite him being nearly half hr late. However, it was when he pressed on wanting to replace our dryer's 3 prong cord w/ a four prong cord so it can fit w/ the installation of what's on the wall where he just couldn't help himself. He stated he didn't have the cord in stock, that he would need to buy it and return to install it. This is where the price gouging became evident as he charged $45 for a cord that you can get at Home Depot from anywhere from $12 up to $30 AND that was extremely easy to install for another $40. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, HE REFUSED TO COOPERATE AND OFFER A REFUND FOR WORK HE NEVER DID PERFORM. Thankfully, our bank was able to do a chargeback and we had to get our money back that way. |
