Update to previous review: After Amber saw all my negative reviews on the many websites I've posted on, she finally felt compelled to respond. Her response, however, was merely an accusation at me saying that I'm trying to discredit her business and an accusation at my boyfriend stating that it was his fault there was damage because he was the one handling the boxes. This is a complete and total lie! Why would I hire movers if we were just going to handle everything ourselves? Why would I intentionally put my own fragile items under books? She did offer to pay for the broken chair, her only acknowledgement of damage. However, I responded with a picture of the broken chair and have never heard anything from her since. I am not surprised to read similar claims in other reviews. It's unfortunate that Yelp doesn't list any of the negative reviews on their front page and factor them into the rating but you can still read the reviews by going to the bottom of the Yelp page and clicking on grayed out other reviews that are not currently recommended. Here you will find very similar reviews to mine and after my personal experience I believe them all. |
