Where to start!!! Movers showed up, sat outside my place for about 15 mins or so ( estimating ) before coming up. Well the timer starts when they pull up, so 15 mins wasted to doing nothing, not a big deal. Two movers come in smelling like weed, to me, not that big of deal as long as you are professional and get the job done. All they had to move was 5 pieces of furniture. They eye balled the fridge and thought they could move it without taking the doors off, ( literally were using their hands as a ruler ). Decided to take one door off. Will get back to the fridge in a min. They did not have the correct tools. I am talking about a standard allen wrench, which they had to borrow mine. Did not wrap the dresser well at all. Clothes fell out in the middle of the street as they took it out. ( Wifes bra etc.) Scrapped up the walls and door moving furniture on the way out. Just awful... Ok now to the location moving to which was 2 miles away. First thing they try to move in.. the fridge. While having one door on it, they try taking it threw front and back door, while carrying it around as the one door was swinging back and forth which is now broken. While putting together furniture at the new home, once again, did not have a tool. I HAD to go back to the place just moved from, grab my tools, and run it back to them, took about 30 mins ( trying to find tools they did not have ) walked in to them sitting there and did not do one thing while i was gone. So after 6 hours I believe if not longer finally were done. You want to talk about professionalism, do not use this company. I spoke with a guy with a Illinois area code who claimed to be either the owner or project manager. Explained the Sh**show and sent pictures to him. At first was actually apologetic and understood and said would get back to me. I mentioned I did not sign the paper stated all the furniture was in same condition as my fridge door was broken.... Never heard from him again. Then reached out to April, who said was customer service rep. Once again, at first apologized and said would take care of it, gave her days, then weeks, would respond once in awhile saying how backed up she was, then.....ghosted.... If you are looking for MOVERS, LOOK ELSEWHERE! Don't fall for the sales pitch BS. Money wasted, Broken Fridge, Lazy, and customer service....0 STARS. Should of used 2 Men and a Truck like i was originally going to use. |
