Atlantis originally sent me an estimate quickly after I reached out to them. The estimate was for $360 and I made sure to explain the exact pieces of furniture I needed moved. They were supposed to arrive at 9:00am. At 8:00am, they called me saying they would be an hour late. At 10:15am, I called the manager Alex to find their location and he didn't answer. I called the driver who had contacted me earlier. No answer. I finally called the central number and the operator said that it appears the crew is running late. No kidding. The crew finally shows up at 11:45 and begin to work.They manage to pack everything up in the truck, but not before one of their crew urinated ALL OVER my bathroom floor after we had cleaned it. It's like he didn't even know there was a toilet bowl. I took a picture and will post it if possible. None of the crew wore masks and the one was constantly sneezing. It appears that they don't watch the news wherever they live and know that we're in a pandemic. Once they get the truck to my new home, they hit me with the actual cost which was close to $1000. I flipped considering that this was almost three times the estimated price. They threw out some inflated math at me. When I made it clear that I knew they were essentially hijacking my belongings unless I paid them, they gawked as if I were a monster for even broaching the subject. A phone call to their manager was equally useless, as he finally gave me a 5% discount because they were 2.5 hours late. The crew left with a minimal tip. If you want a company to kidnap your belongings while they jack up their ransom, I mean prices, pee on your floor, and show up extremely late without any kind of apology, I recommend Atlantic! I will be posting this same review on every possible site I can as this crew and the manager I spoke with on the phone were rude and took no responsibility for any of their faults throughout the day. |
