We used firpo to move 10 minutes down the road. The estimate was for 6-8 hr job total. The first day of our move took 9 hrs. Their excuse was that they sent the wrong truck and couldn't get it up the driveway. Then, after using their storage, I was assured that it should take about 3 hours to unload our things in the new house. It took 6. The guys were smoking in my driveway and taking there good old time. They tracked mud onto my new carpets. We didn't even have them assemble anything due to the fact that it was taking forever and didn't want to have to pay for extra hours. After unpacking and looking at our furniture, much of it is damaged and many things are broken. We called the company and the owner, Paul, took 2 weeks to call us back. Then was very rude and said would call us back and never did. So if you want slow movers that's ice false estimates and will make an 8 hour job into a 2 day job go ahead a hire them. |
