DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They contract out the work and you are never able to get anyone on the phone to help. Worst customer service EVER. I was given an estimate over the phone for a small load. I gave the girl exact measurements. Quote was $1300. Once the movers had my belongings loaded onto the truck they tried collecting close to $5,000, as they said I was over the cubic feet I was quoted. After speaking to several people they finally lowered the Amount to $2500 and stated that I either had to pay or I would lose my $500 deposit and be charged for �labor�. I was told that my belongings would be delivered from MD to my new home in OH within three days... I calendar least ten times a day and was either hung up on or screamed at by multiple �customer service� reps that all told me that legally they could hold my belongings up to 21 days. They fact that I had �honored their word� that it would only be three days was not beneficial. Finally ten days later at 7pm my belongings were delivered and my TV stand was ruined, corner scuffed beyond repair and a very expensive glass floor lamp that they assured me they would wrap with care and even charged extra for, was broken when I received it. I cannot get a straight answer from anyone at prodigy about the process of filing a claim and they take zero responsibility, which is really unfortunate. Their excuse was �the girl that helped me with setting up themovr and the quote was no longer employed there. Do yourself a favor and find someone that will value your belongings and your time. This is not the place!!!!! |
