This company has a D rating on the Better Business Bureau, and that is giving it a bit too much credit. When they are selling you, they will send you to a BBB listing in Utah, which gives them an A+. In addition, if you start actually reading their reviews on ANY of the sites they send you to from their own website, you'll notice none have pictures, they all have only 1 review, they tend to be in groups of one day (6 from November 27th, then 5 from September 9th, etc.) and they're all REALLY happy unless they gave 3 stars and a laughingly unreasonable reason (for example, a 3-star review from, I believe it was Trustlink, where a woman says: I understand that it takes time to drive from CA to NJ, but we think they should load everything to the truck and just drive to us. when complaining that it took more than 3 days or something for her items to be moved. But, she adds that everything else was so great!) I wish I would have paid more attention to these dishonest sales practices, advertising, and reviews/testimonials, it would have saved me a giant headache. They damaged my headboard, lost a box containing approximately $1600 worth of items in it, and beat up my boxes labeled fragile to the point where some of the contents were broken. I tried contacting the company after the move was complete, and my phone calls and emails were not returned. Eventually I talked to Michelle in Dispatch, who said she would look for my box...I don't know if she did or didn't, but about one day later I received an email from her shuffling me off to the company that handles their claims. About 3.5 months later, I received my settlement offer of $84. Wow - insulting. So this is why I started digging, and it makes me sick what I've found. I sent an email to Michelle letting her know my disgust and that I'd be reviewing them and submitting BBB complaints. I finally got a phone call back (and really quickly)! She said she would contact claims to work something out (to avoid me writing negative reviews), and sure enough, I was offered an additional $66 as a gesture of good faith. Well, I have no faith in this company. Take your business elsewhere! I'll be sharing my story and their scam anywhere I can, starting with their figurehead A+ BBB listing. |
