My family and I (plus two dogs) moved from Dallas to Des Moines, IA in late October. I was a bit trepidatious about a cross-country move because I had heard horror stories from friends. But there was no way that we were going to do a massive move by ourselves. We just have too much stuff. After doing my due diligence in research, my wife and I settled on First National Van Lines. Their reputation stuck out far and above so many other companies that we researched. We contacted and contracted them in the very same day, and their office support was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us get set up with a crew. On the day of the move, their weight estimates were right on, and the movers that packed our stuff were sensitive to the boxes that we had marked fragile. It was actually amazing watching them pack the trailer; it was like a live, human game of Tetris. In Des Moines, we were very pleased to see that they had followed our directions and were quite quick about the move. All in all, I would absolutely go with First National Moving Vans again. Well done. |
