Do not use this company for shipping or moving. I was not able to be present at the pickup for some furniture I had them ship from Milwaukee to New York. They gave me an original quote for stuff that was well under their minimum of 300 cubic ft. They go and pick the stuff up where a family member was present. They then call me after claiming I went over the 300 cubic ft and attempt to charge me $500 more than the quote. I asked for an accuracy check multiple times, which they never do. They held my stuff hostage in a storage facility in Michigan until I paid 70%, after paying 30% down initially. I called probably 20 times over several weeks and talked to 10 different people, all who said they would call back. Never got a single call back. Eventually I paid the 70% after they promised the inventory check. They never did it. I received my items but they came with only 1 person so I had to help unload and move everything and basically do their job for them. I refused to pay the final 30%. I still paid over the original quote by a little but it was not worth calling back anymore because they accomplish nothing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL HOLD YOUR STUFF HOSTAGE IF YOU DONT AGREE WHEN THEY TRY TO UPCHARGE YOU. |
