If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I booked them through Moving Help on U-Haul�s website to unload my U-Haul when I arrived in Milwaukee. I filled out all of the necessary information and scheduled the unloading for approx. 1 PM on Sunday, Oct 21. On Friday, Oct 19th, I had yet to hear from them. I tried calling 2 numbers listed on U-Haul�s website and this Facebook page and neither worked. Concerned that they were not a real company or that I was being scammed, I canceled. Immediately upon canceling the service, I received a text from Alexandria & a phone call from Austin asking me why I had canceled and if there was anything they could do. I explained that I hadn�t heard from them and I was moving across the country so I couldn�t take the chance that they wouldn�t show up to unload. They assured me that it was a simple miscommunication and that if I rebooked, they would handle the move and I was already on the schedule for the 21st. Austin seemed great on the phone so I went ahead and rebooked. We were coming from Cincinnati, so I told Austin I would text the number he gave me in the morning to give him a better estimate on when we would arrive. Fast forward to this past Sunday, Oct 21st. I sent the first text message to Austin at 9:30 AM confirming the unloading for 1 PM. I heard nothing. I texted again an hour later, figuring maybe they were on a job and couldn�t answer with a simple message saying �Will that work for you?� Again...nothing. I called both Austin and Alexandria multiple times between 11:30 AM and 1:45 PM (keep in mind they were supposed to unload at 1 PM) and still nothing. It was unacceptable, so I canceled...again. They never called and never showed. I contacted U-Haul�s Moving Help customer support and even she tried to reach out to them with no luck. Bottom line, if you�re looking for a reliable company to help you with a move, these folks are not it. Shame on me for letting them fool me into thinking they were good, honest people. Thank God U-haul credited my money back. |
