If you are smart enough to look at reviews before scheduling a move with them, stay away! This company is a huge scam. They underquote everything: price and time of delivery. It has been more than 2 weeks since they took our furniture and we cannot even get an update on where it currently is. I am pregnant and I don't have anywhere to sit in my house. I will start with: do not believe their price quote. They quoted us a $1,000 and tried charging $3,500 instead. It took my husband 3 hours to negotiate it down to $2,000 because at this point we really needed to move forward. That's just a small portion of what this company really does. They train every single employee to scam you, lie, underquote and be as rude as possible. We were called the day before a pick up and promised for the drivers to arrive between 3 and 5 pm. They arrived at 8:00 pm instead. Which made my husband almost late for a night flight. And it's not that we don't understand that moving takes longer and such, but the way they operated should be absolutely unacceptable in this country. The drivers kept telling my husband that they are 30 mins away, so he couldn't change the flight or leave the house to run errands. An that lasted for 5 hours. Finally, I called and made a big deal and threatened to cancel, so somehow that made them show up in 30 minutes. When the drivers showed up they all appeared severely intoxicated. They acted very unprofessional, did not apologize for being late and quoted us trice more than promised. They were very rude and could not explain why are we getting charged trice more. Then we almost cancelled and they right the way charged the card on file $500 without our authorization. Couple minutes later they said they could go down to $2,100, which my husband had no choice to cause his flight was in one hour. For a next week I was trying to figure out why am I charged $500.00 in addition to that. No one could explain. When I finally got a hold of their supervisor Ann, I realized that this company is a HUGE SCAM! She is the most rude and unprofessional person I ever had to deal with. I had to hang up a conversation with her, because she started yelling and putting me down. I called yet again and a rep finally took the charge off explaining it by our thought to cancel. Now, that is where the real fun started. Almost three weeks later: we do not have our stuff still. When we call they promise to reach out to dispatch and for them to call me back for 10 days now. Needless to say, no one calls back. And no one tells us where is our stuff. Every time I call, they say the same thing, put me on hold and never reach back. Also, needless, to say, reaching out to Ann, their supervisor is worth nothing. Do not even waste your time, she will not help. The woman is heartless. I want to tell the whole world to stay away from them. Safe yourself a headache, money and stress!!! STAY AWAY!!! |
