DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Unified Van Lines is one of many names used by a scam moving organization. Do your research and watch the investigative reports on them. All of the 5-star reviews on their website AND others that are linked to their website are obviously fake. Their 'dispatch' and 'customer service' numbers go to voicemail with no callback returned. The salesman will only work with you until they have your deposit and belongings on their truck. Good luck trying to reach them after that. These guys have a history of holding goods hostage, demanding additional money before releasing shipments, and severely damaging furniture. If you are lucky enough to see your belongings again, be prepared to cough up thousands more $$$ than you were quoted. They only take cash or US Postal Service money orders in advance before opening the truck to deliver your belongings, so you can't stop payment. Salesman promised pickup on Friday or Saturday (4/27/18-4/28/18) with delivery next day on Saturday or Sunday (4/27/18-4/28/18), total of 210 miles. That was two weeks ago, and the last time we saw our belongings. When they do answer the phone, they tell you not sure, driver will call you 24 hours in advance, with no firm date provided. No hopes for delivery any time soon. Although BBB and FMCSA acknowledge UVL has (one of) their multiple licenses to provide interstate services revoked, they also state that any issues with UVL must be addressed as a matter in civil court. |
