I've moved a lot! This was the worst EVER. I had a long distance move.The owner was the worst part of this move. He was unresponsive, tried to micromanage the move from out-of-state - he doesn't allow his employees to make any decisions- and ended my move with, I just don't care anymore. I just want this to be over. I just don't care. He underestimated my move or maybe the other family's things that were picked up before mine. All of my things wouldn't fit on the truck so his suggestion was to rent a self-storage until he could get back to my state to pick up my things. It was at this time that he became very uncommunicative. I was told there would be a team of movers. Two guys showed up. They did not put anything on the floors to protect them until I asked them to. They did not pad corners in the house and they did not have the right equipment - no real furniture dollies. The inventory process was pathetice. They started loading before everything was inventoried. They hand carried a lot...inefficient and a health hazard for them. They arrived at approximately 8:00 am and did not pull out of my driveway until 11:15 pm that night. The things that would not fit on the truck were literaly crammed into a U-Haul storage unit. I watched a box fall off of the truck and bounce in the street as they were trying to get everything on the truck at the end of the day. When the partial load arrvied at the destination, they would not have checked anything in if I had not insisted. I'm pretty sure one of the guys had virtually no experience. I felt sorry for the other guy. His body is too old to be working this hard, mostly by himself. Three weeks later, the second load arrived in a BUDGET rental truck I think they had driven from Oklahoma...not sure; they didn't seem to want to discuss the details of how long my things had been on the BUDGET truck. I know this: My things had been loaded and unloaded a total of five times. Again, at destination, they have no runners for the floor and no real protection for corners or stair railings. Antique furniture was broken. Cartons missing. And the owner yelling at me over the phone that he just didn't care. He suggested that I not tell Baker Moving Insurance that the second load had been kept in storage so the damage would be covered. It was at that moment that my suspicisons were confirmed. I had hired a terrible mover and the owner was a snake. Do NOT use Full Circle Moving. Unless your expectations are quite low, you will be disappointed. The owner is nice at the point of sale. Very different, though if things do not go as planned. He was literrally yelling at me on the phone calling me names. What a way to run a business. Beware. |
