I would not recommend this company to anyone. This is the worst and most frustrating experience I have ever had. I moved from Chicago to Arizona with Prodigy Moving Company. I dealt with Ellie, and she quoted me a price for everything. We went over that various times and she told me that the price quoted would be the amount. The day the movers actually came they charged me another $365. I was absoulutely livid. Anna & Ellie, lied to me. They did what They told me that every other moving company would do is lowball me. At that point I had no other choice but to pay. When My furniture arrived in phoenix the moving company that chose to send my furniture with was rude, & unprofessional. The driver confirmed that he was familiar with the storage faciltiy I chose and he was certain he could get the truck into the unit. Well we know how that turned out. He came late after the gates were locked and told me he had never delivered to that particular storage company facilty. The next day the manager of the movers cursed me out because I was inquiring about my belongings, long story short they wanted me to pay an additional $300 for them to move my things to a smaller truck so it could be delivered at the storage space. At this point I am so disappointed, I ended up getting a uhaul and moved my furniture from the warehouse in glendale arizona myself. I was missing 6 totes and my dresser was broken. I called and left a voicmail on Saturday 3/24/2018 regarding my missing totes and my furniture and no one has returned my call as of today 3/28/2018. I will be filing a law suit shortly. |
