COMPLETE FRAUD!!! They provided a binding in home estimate after reviewing our property for over an hour. Note their website which states, Binding estimates are our way of guaranteeing your price. No hidden costs, no last minute changes, guaranteed! They actually picked up less items then the estimate because we threw quit a bit out and packed both a car and SUV for our move. Regardless, two days after pick-up we start getting daily calls demanding we pay additional for the move. The threats continued including not scheduling our delivery and could not guarantee storage of our item. We finally agree because we were out of options. FRAUD #1. We were promised secure and environmentally controlled storage. Per their own website, Our 24/7 monitored and climate controlled storage facility is equipped to hold you household goods... When our delivery arrived, we had boxes that were soaked, wood furniture that was so wet for so long it warped, clothes that bled and had mold all over them. Not to mention the 14 boxes of belongings that were stolen. So much for secure and climate controlled. FRAUD #2. Then, they actually hired high school kids off of craigslist to complete our move (delivery). This was confirmed by the kids and the driver who was the only person that had any experience at all in moves. They dropped boxes of dishes on our wood floors which we got to hear shatter, slid boxes across our freshly coated floors, dropped dressers going up the stairs, scratched all of the walls, dented floors etc. They used box cutters to open the furniture and destroyed our belongings. Literally slit our leather chair, cut into other furniture pieces and slit our mattress right down the middle. Per the website and emails, all of their out of state movers have worked for the company for 2+years, are extensively trained, drug tested and background checked etc. Complete lie. And then they actually had the nerve to say they have the right to hire whoever they want for their moves. FRAUD #. The claims process is a joke so the best you can do is keep reporting this company to the Illinois AG's office. |
