This is the WORST COMPANY EVER! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY again and I urge you not to! I�m telling everyone I know about what happened to me so they will never use them. No one who runs a company this way deserves to be in business. This is what happened: I gave them an inventory of everything I needed to be moved and I took the measurements of everything. I was told no problem, they could take all of it. I subtracted the washer and dryer and added a couple of pieces which raised my price. They again said no problem to the additional measurements. Because of all kinds of misinformation and changes to the delivery times to my destination, they ended up picking up the items from my house a week earlier than expected. The day of pickup, the driver looked at all my inventory and said he wouldn�t be able to take everything because they only allotted 581 c.f. and if I wanted additional space it would be an extra charge. This is after I had a contract and a list of items they were supposed to pick up. I called the office and got no help from them at all. As a result, they could only take half of what was on the inventory list. Half! So I was on my own to figure out how to get the rest of the things to my new place. When I checked with the office to confirm the delivery date, they told me it would be in 3-5 days, two days earlier than I expected. As a result of that news I had to scramble and leave a day earlier because if I wasn�t at my new place when they got there, they would have to place it in storage and I might not get my things for 3-5 weeks! Not only that, but I had to haul the pieces they weren�t able to take, myself, which completely messed me up with what I had originally planned to take with me. The delivery date was set for 2/25/18 anywhere from 12-4 pm. On 2/25/18, at 3:30pm I texted the driver for an eta, and he said 4:45. At around 5:00 a long truck came and I went over to the driver who was by himself. I asked where his help was and he said he was the only one. I said how did he expect to unload my furniture and he replied, �Do you know someone I could hire?� I said you�ve got to be joking, I�m new here and I don�t know anyone. Who runs this company? Who would send one person to unload furniture and a piano? There were two men who were working for the owner who I called over to see if they could help. The driver said he could pay them. Then to make matters worse, the driver said he couldn�t back up his truck to my house, so I had to take MY truck and offload furniture on it and truck it to my front door and unload it. The driver helped very little. Then they charged me an extra $100 because it was a long truck, which no one had told me that it would be delivered in a long truck since it was a short truck that picked up my things. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO! |
