From $2,030.25 to $6,264.93, broken bookshelves and stolen coin collections!!! This is by far the worst moving experience I've ever had (and I've moved over 20 times in my adult life. First, the quote was handled over the phone and I was told that my move would cost $2,030.25 (454 sq. ft.), give or take a few square feet of space needs. When I called, my number 1 priority, as concerned the move particulars, was that I have full packing and unpacking service. I was also told by Scott that I would have him personally supervising my entire move. When the packers (Ari, Elvis, James and Luisni) came, they began packing and a couple of hours, they told me that my packed items took up nearly TWICE (or 875 sq. ft.) the space quoted, so it would cost more. Further, neither packing nor unpacking was part of the cost, so I would need to pay $875 packing and $875 for the unpacking, or $6,264.93 - everything already packed. Out of room, but they also stole my 2 coin collections and broke my bookcases and refused to adjust my bill in the least. Despicable! |
