This is my 16th move and by far the worst! It didn't take long to realize that the crew of 5 people were NOT professional movers, they were not careful with our furniture and came with no tools. If we hadn't stopped them, they would have left w/out re-assembling beds or situating furniture in proper places. They decided on their own to make two trips (so they could have a longer work day and make more money) and STILL left clothes, shoes, pictures, lamps, etc. at the old house. Many walls in our BRAND NEW � JUST BUILT home got gashed and scratched. Just about every piece of furniture got dinged, scratched, nicked during the move but a very expensive office desk got more extensive damage. When I contacted the Owner, Kristi, she wouldn't return my calls until I mentioned filing a formal complaint. She then asked that I send a pic and stated that the company will take care of the damage. After not hearing from her for one week, I called her again, got her voicemail and at this point realized that the company is NOT going to repair the damage to the desk. They never took responsibility for the damage/repair to the desk. Having had so much experience with moving and movers, this company was by far the worst I have experienced which in turn made this the worst of all my 16 moves!! |
