Worst experience ever. They answered a quote request and very attentive. Elected to sign with them as a broker for a move from Mapleton, Oregon to Summerville, South Carolina on 7/25/17. Once I had paid a fee of over $1800 for reserved date things went down hill. Very hard to reach. My rep was changed to Kris Thomas, Director of Operation (per his claim). When I was able to reach hill (rarely). He quoted me a cost for additional insurance (Peril Ins). When I explained what Peril meant, he had to check into it and stated that I was right and then quoted another cost. I had already secured moving insurance elsewhere. I was told that by Kris that our mover was a specific company and I confirmed that nothing had changed the day before the move. One the day of move, a box truck and three men with no identifying marketing on truck or clothing. It was not the company that we were told and I had to scramble to get insurance changed over to this new company. I was able to reach Kris who does not return calls or emails (Just ignored) by accident. He stated that the company was changed while he was out of office (a lot). Move occurred and it was a nightmare. Extra fee for extra packing material of antiques another truck had to be called and it took over three hours for them to get there. They packed a few items and left. Our things were taken to storage (we were not told that this would occur). It took 21 days to get our stuff. 22 items damaged (20 of which were items with extra packing for protection. Placed call to Kris. No call backs. Attempted to call Pan America for over a month. Kris's calls went to voicemail. Tried various lines (customer service, existing client, new clients, etc. Left messages with not call backs. They are suppose to be point of contact. They were not. Awful, Awful company. I was shocked to see positive responses since you can't reach anyone. |
