Everything was a lie from this company. I spoke with Luke Moran and he promised us the world. Said Assurance is a moving company, not a broker. LIE! Said they would use their own trucks. LIE! Said they would have it delivered by a specific date. LIE!! The job was sold out to a local company. The moving company packed our stuff and sat in a warehouse. We were told it would NOT go to a warehouse at all. LIE!! Then it was supposed to be delivered on a certain date. LIE!! The moving company could not promise us a date anytime soon. So now we have to sleep on the floor, in dirty clothes, with bare minimal necessities, as all of our belongings sit in a warehouse and we have no idea if/when it will get to us. So we try to call Luke, but now we are not permitted to talk to him? So then we talk to another Assurance rep, who said now we have to get in direct touch with them moving company. Call the moving company. They first said it would be within a week because there was an error. OK fine. They were supposed to call back with a time-frame but never did. I called them again, and now I had to call back a week later and they MIGHT know when it will be delivered?? By now I had enough. At my expense I had to get a rental truck and move everything out of the warehouse, into the rental truck, and drive it down to Florida. I have filed complaints against them on the state level, and will file complaints on the national level as well. When I called the Florida attorney general office to file a complaint, they knew the the Ft. Lauderdale, FL. area is a hotbed of fraudulent moving companies. I wish I had known that at the time, but now at least you know! DO NOT USE THIS SORRY EXCUSE OF A COMPANY! |
