02/28/2012 Ok, so I've just found this page, but my move took place like a year and a half ago... Moved from Babylon, NY to the city. Never thought I will not spend a small fortune to do something like that, I was already planning to buy new things cause I got some ridiculous estimations, that were just not worth it. Plus I'm a student, I don't have fancy furniture or anything special, just the bare necessaries to make it seem comfy. So when Greg(foreman) came to my apartment in Babylon, he took a look and just wanted to confirm if the estimate over the phone was accurate. He promised that it will not go over and it almost didn't, the charge was more because they used a lot of packing... had no idea that i needed to wrap the monitor, tv, and the mirror... I just wanted them to load everything to the truck and just do it. But they took such great care about my (not so valuable) belongings. I was very happy to see that, I liked it a lot! My total was about $500 something, so that reeeealy made my day. I was planning that the move would be around $800 or so like the other companies said. Great service providers, very hard working and friendly people! Liked it a lot! |
