My husband is in the Navy, and we were moving most of our things into storage for his upcoming deployment. We were originally just going to pay basically a couple of random guys to help us move the big items, thinking we could handle the rest ourselves, but at the last minute, we called Smooth Moves to see if maybe they could help us out. Joe, I believe to be the owner, was great about making our move happen -- with less than 24 hours notice. He really went out of his way to help us (did I mention we were moving on Labor Day Weekend?) The movers who came, RJ and Vic (ask for them!), were professional and efficient. We were paying by the hour, so we were worried they might drag their feet, but they did in 3 hours what would have taken us and four people all day. It was amazing how they just whipped our heavy oak bedroom set around the tight corners of our stairs, like the furniture weighed nothing. We would recommend their work ethic and experience to all ends. They were amazing. |
