I chose these guys because I wanted to support some local guys as opposed to a company - also, they had the cheapest rates of the top rated moving companies I found on yelp. Literally just the two of them showed up right on time and were ridiculously efficient (which is great, since all movers charge by hour). It's just two guys, yet somehow in the span of me going to make myself lunch, they had packed up and moved half the bedroom already. They wrapped all our furniture in blankets (no extra charge, they just do that to make sure it's all safe). Our new apartment has an incredibly thin staircase with a wicked right turn in it, and we didn't think *any* of the furniture would fit up it besides the TV! But they managed to maneuver everything up except one wardrobe which literally just didn't fit (but they were so determined, they were like, we want to make our customers happy and we will try!). They offered to leave it on the porch and have someone come back the next day to disassemble it, bring it upstairs, and reassemble it for a fee (but we decided we just didn't need it and it's now on craigslist, if you need a very large wardrobe). As for communication, their emails and calls are pretty to the point and their grammar isn't great, but don't let that deter you (in fact, given that Spanish is their first language, I'd say more power to them since I certainly couldn't write an email in Spanish). They really are great guys to have around, and I've already recommended them to a friend. |
