Sep 12, 2011 I can't rate these guys highly enough! They were professional, careful and simply excellent throughout. They moved my husband's office in 2006 and we were impressed with them and so hired them for a house move in May of 2011. From the estimate appointment I was impressed. The manager who came for the estimate even advised us on how to save money on the move buy buying certain materials ourselves to save the labor costs etc. In the end our move cost $700 less than the estimate in large part to his advice. On the move day the movers were prompt, professional, courteous and worked very hard. Our move was accomplished on schedule and was easy for us - or as easy as a house move can be. But it gets better..... We had a large wardrobe that we were unable to get into the new house on the day of the move - we had to remove a door to even attempt it. They came back TWICE free of charge to help us get it into the house. Once to measure and advise us ... They were professional, careful and simply excellent throughout. They came back TWICE free of charge to help us get it into the house. Once to measure and advise us on how to best attempt it and what to do to arrange for it and the second time to try to move it. This is a HUGE piece of furniture that weighs hundreds of pounds. In the end it did not fit by literally 2 centimeters (not their fault) but they tried everything and were beyond professional and helpful. |
