I had some initial reservation about using this company, but was truly impressed by the end of the day While researching moving companies I read many reviews putting much more weight on sites other than the companies own posted reviews. As this is a fairly new company there was not as much to read. After contacting multiple movers I got a few no contacts and quotes of $2300, $1900 and Custom Movers at $900. Being extremely skeptical at the low ball price I called and spoke specifics with manager. We agreed three persons moving me vice two would be better and re-adjusted the quote to $1300 and moved forward. When these guys showed up they immediately assessed the house and what needed to be moved first. They asked questions when needed were professional throughout the move and kept me informed when they were even taking breaks. Took extra care in securely packing a couple of large glass antique items and at the end of the day showed me one item that was broken, though not by them just noticed afterward. I moved to third floor apartment, so the move up and in slowed significantly. More than understandable for the amount and weight of items we had. This slower pace actually better ensured our items were not damaged and was by no means lazy. They were plum whooped at the end of the day when they crawled back to the truck. I would hire these guys again. And the final cost was about $50 under quote. |
