Hello Master Movers, As you know we used Master Movers to move from the SE Portland to West Linn on 6/7, Mover 1 and Mover 2 were our movers. According to my wife who was present with several other friends - the loading part went fine, however the unloading is a different story. After I introduced myself, the first words out of Mover 1�s mouth were that he accepted gratuity while he stood less than several feet away from me staring at me. Next, they blocked the entire street and began unloading. When I mentioned they blocked the street, Mover 1 mentioned that they could get by if they drove on the sidewalk. He seemed offended when I told him that was unacceptable. When he began unloading again, it was very apparent to eight of my friends that he was just yanking items out of the truck. Which was when our tall lamp was broken. The comment from Mover 1 was that that's what happens when it's not boxed and you should expect some damage. Things went downhill from here. When I asked Master Movers would cover the damage of the lamp - he seemed put out that I would suggest to file a claim for only a lamp, like it wasn't a big deal and I should forget about it. Next was the unloading my Weber BBQ unit, Mover 1 and Mover 2 were not in sync and the entire unit crashed down the ramp and broke some of the parts. Mover 1 publicly blamed Mover 2 for it and you could tell Mover 2 was embarrassed. At this point, I was very upset and told them they need to slow down and be more careful. Mover 1 was also rude to my friends - When a Christmas bulb broke from the other Budget Truck which was also being unloaded he snottily said to Chelle and some other friends See even your friends break stuff. Lastly, as we were setting our bed up we noticed that our Carrington Chase $2500 mattress has long grease marks. Why in the world would they not wrap the mattress! I am amazed with this lack of professionalism and lack of courteousness that Master Movers is still in business! My friends did a better job moving and they are not trained professionals! I am completely disappointed with your company. |
