Overall: Very dissatisfied � vehicle suffered vandalism during transport. The muffler and a large section of the connecting exhaust piping had been brutally ripped off the vehicle sometime during the hauling process. The driver was unaware of this; and the person who signed for the vehicle at delivery was not qualified to inspect the vehicle for possible damage . We reported the damaged to the hauling company as soon as we were made aware. We even send in pictures to the hauler company showing the muffler in place taken on the day of the pick-up and pictures of the damage � missing muffler and pipe � upon delivery. We received absolutely no response from the hauler even after several phone calls and e-mails. Our only contact with the hauler was with an office person who answers their main phone number. We were promised that a service manager would contact the driver, look into our claim, review our pictures and then call us back with a decision. We never received any communication whether in writing or by phone. Beware of this unprofessional company. They will not safeguard your vehicle during transport nor will they take any responsibility for any damage should it occur. And worst of all, they appear to have absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction. Once they have your money the relationship is over. Your only recourse appears to be to sue. Perhaps they would respond if contacted by an attorney. In our case, the damage was not worth going to court over; but it is the principle of the matter. |
