TWO GUYS, TWO TRUCKS MOVING is a locally owned professional moving company. We have a small core of well paid, trained, and motivated movers who provide fast, safe, and reliable service. Our movers know what they are doing and do it right. We furnish all necessary moving equipment, including blankets/pads, stretch wrap, handtrucks, furniture dollies, plastic mattress covers, securement straps, and basic tools. Our local service area includes Iowa City and the surrounding area (50 mile radius). Please inquire for long-distance moves. We are available 7 days a week from 9am-10pm.

HOURLY MINIMUMS
With the exception of small deliveries we have a TWO HOUR MINIMUM for all moves located in the Iowa City area and a THREE HOUR MINIMUM for all moves located at a distance greater than 15 miles from our location. Our services are billed in half-hour increments.

TRANSPORTATION FEES
No transportation charge for moves in the Iowa City area; $1.25/mile one way transportation fee for all moves located at a distance greater than 15 miles.

LOCAL DELIVERIES
$20 to $100 depending on item specifics, location details, and labor required. Location must be in Iowa City, Coralville, or North Liberty. We have access to two pickup trucks and deliver items from thrift stores, antique shops, consignment stores, big box retail outlets, and for Craigslist furniture buyers/sellers. Delivery rates are limited to FOUR items; hourly rates and minimums will apply for more than four items.

LABOR ONLY MOVING
$30/hour (1 guy), $60/hour (2 guys), $90/hour (3 guys), or $120/hour (4 guys).
You provide the rental truck, trailer, or mobile storage container and we provide all necessary moving equipment and supplies.

PACKING SERVICES
We have a packing service available at our hourly labor rates + box fees (includes packing material and tape; $30 minimum on boxes) at $3.00/small box, $4.00/medium box, and $5.00/large box. You may always opt to provide your own boxes as well.

FULL SERVICE MOVING
$50/hour (1 guy), $80/hour (2 guys), $110/hour (3 guys), or $140/hour (4 guys).
Use of our trucks for the duration of your move: $0/truck fee (1-2 pickup trucks, based on availability), $50 (6' x 12' enclosed trailer, based on availability), $100/truck fee (16' box truck), or $125/truck fee (26' box truck). We provide the selected truck(s) and all necessary moving equipment.


Intrastate and Interstate moves are charged $3.50/per loaded mile (under 300 miles) or $3.00/per loaded mile (over 300 miles) in addition to the rates specified above. Walk through estimates are required (free of charge) for larger households and for all long distance moves.
