At first they came across as friendly and caring. Although late the crew arrived ready to go. However there capability of handling items with care was extremely lacking. They were suppose to have two trucks but only one showed up until the very last hour. They didn't stack things neatly and I questioned how they were treating things. They assured nothing would get damaged. The move took two days and on the second day the handling got worse. Again only one truck showed up. We ended up having to put things in our own vehicles which was expected. After getting everything into the new home we noticed tears in our leather furniture, the china cabinet busted and several pieces of high edn furniture scratched or dented. After unpacking only half of the boxes (over the next week) we found glassware, collectibles and other furniture broken or destroyed. We we inquired about making an insurance claim we received no response other than you need to call Lamont. Which we did with no results. Thousands of dollars in damages as a result of their lack of care and professionalism. We are moving forward with legal actions. Stay away! You would be better off in getting the local Boy Scouts to do the move. |
